Renovation of an apartment in Rome's Tuscolana district

A young couple's first home! A desire for freshness and design to build their life together. For this new Oasi Home Design project, he is directing and carrying out the work on this apartment in the Tuscolana area of Rome.

The living area opens onto a minimalist yet welcoming kitchen, where the visual continuity is interrupted by a change in flooring that clearly defines the working area. The contrast with the tatami-style parquet flooring enhances the geometry of the rooms, creating a dialogue between materials and functions and giving the space a contemporary, youthful, and surprisingly warm character.

The watchword? Simplicity. A palette of light colors amplifies natural light and creates an airy, relaxing atmosphere. In this measured balance, doors and boiserie are not simply functional elements, but are transformed into true decorative surfaces that, integrated into the architectural design, punctuate the walls with rhythm and proportion.
