Toscano at Fonte Meravigliosa: Cristian Fargnoli and Alessio Sacripanti open the new affiliate store in Rome

With extensive experience gained in the agencies of the Toscano SpA direct network, Cristian Fargnoli (Agency Director) and Alessio Sacripanti are opening their first agency in the heart of the Fonte Meravigliosa district in Rome. With internal training, team spirit, and strong local roots, they are bringing the Toscano method to a new area of the capital.

This is your first opening, congratulations. How did you come to open your first branch?

Cristian Fargnoli: "I started my career as an intern at the direct agency in Ostia, where I met Alessio, who had already been working there for a few years. Then time took us down different paths, but only to bring us back together at the right moment. And in fact, that moment came when we had the opportunity to open in the Fonte Meravigliosa area."

When did you come up with the idea of opening your own location?

“It all started in the summer of 2023, when we decided to take the plunge, signing the contract in October of the same year. The first year was spent setting up the company and looking for the perfect location for our agency.”

And you found it.

“Yes, right in the center of the neighborhood, clearly visible from the street.”

You both trained in Toscano: how much has that helped you and how much will it help you in your new business? What experience do you bring with you?

“Working internally, we have certainly learned all aspects of the agent's job, starting from the basics. We have both grown and taken on more responsibility, becoming Sales Manager (Alessio) and Team Manager (Cristian). Being a manager means taking care of office management and staff training; all this has helped us acquire skills on all fronts. Having a comprehensive overview of the business is essential when opening an office, because now the responsibility is entirely ours. But we continue to learn how to best handle each phase."

You already have a wealth of experience in managing resources. Now, however, you have to do it for your own agency.

“We are putting together our team and bringing in more resources to expand it as much as possible. The area, combined with our contacts, allows us to have more resources within the office. Our assistant has already joined the team and helps us with everything related to management activities.”

If you had to appeal to young people who want to embark on a career with you, what would you say to them?

“We believe strongly in the people we choose. We look for people who want to work but, above all, who want to learn by embarking on this path with seriousness and that touch of ambition and desire to grow.”

Do you think the Toscano brand will bring you advantages? Which ones?

“Having a nationally recognized and credible brand behind us makes it easier for us to approach customers who want to sell or buy. As a result, it helps us achieve our goals.”

And how were you received in the area?

“We were pleasantly surprised. The welcome was very positive and the residents were cooperative.”

How important is networking in the neighborhood?

“Living in the neighborhood every day makes a difference: being visible, available, and genuinely committed to improving the neighborhood is an added value that residents certainly appreciate.”

What are your goals now? What are your expectations?

“In the short term, the goal is definitely to train resources that will help us achieve both growth and revenue targets. We aim to find people who will stay and grow with us.”
