New Toscano real estate agency in Rome, in the San Paolo neighborhood
Susanna Fiorletta
From cousins to business partners: let’s get to know the owners of the new Toscano agency, Simone Di Cola and Giovanni Gallo
The San Paolo agency in Rome represents your second opening together after Marconi. What was your path first as agents and then as Toscano real estate brokers?
“Both of us come from a sales background: our first experience was in a door-to-door sales company, an environment that pushed us to grow and to measure ourselves against concrete goals. It was precisely from that drive that we chose to enter the real estate sector, and therefore Toscano, where we found the opportunity for continuous growth, both as agents and as entrepreneurs. Before opening our first real estate agency, we took part in the launch of an agency in Ostia: a fundamental step in understanding in practical terms how to build and develop a successful real estate agency, and one that allowed us to start on solid foundations when we opened.”
What do you like about being real estate agents, to the point that you don’t want to change industries?
“The main factor is growth. When you work methodically and in the right way, results come, and you are aware that you achieved them through your own efforts. At Toscano this aspect is central and is one of the reasons that led us to choose the Group. We invest heavily in people with a long-term vision: training a resource means guiding them until you share entrepreneurial goals, perhaps even opening a new agency together.”
From Ostia to Marconi and then to San Paolo: why this choice?
“From the beginning, together with our colleagues in Ostia, we were thinking about a next step toward a more central market compared to the coastline. The Marconi and San Paolo areas, residential and highly sought-after, represented a strategic opportunity. We can say it was a winning choice: focusing on this area of Rome is allowing us to achieve excellent results.”
From agents to real estate entrepreneurs: what changes in your daily routine?
“The operational activity remains the same, and we carry it forward with method and consistency. What changes is the level of responsibility as owners, especially toward the people who work with us. Many collaborators are young and in their first experience: we have the task of passing on method, mindset, and professionalism, guiding them along a path of professional growth. We are committed to creating an environment where they can work well and feel satisfied, because the well-being of the team is directly reflected in the agency’s results.”
How important are the people you train?
“Seeing a young person satisfied with the results achieved is a source of great pride for us, also because we know we contributed to their journey. Our training is based on attention to the individual and the well-being of the team: when those who work with us grow and reach their goals, the satisfaction is both professional and human.”
Goals for 2026?
“We want to continue opening new agencies, but this year the main focus will be on staffing. Our people represent our greatest asset: we aim to bring in new collaborators who, under our guidance, can achieve significant financial results and, over time, share an entrepreneurial project with us. At the same time, we intend to maintain high standards for both of our agencies, making them increasingly competitive and focused on revenue growth.”
