Lucio Dalla's villa in San Domino (Apulia) sold: an exclusive deal by Gruppo Toscano Holding
Susanna FiorlettaThe singer-songwriter's charming villa in San Domino, in the Tremiti Islands archipelago (Puglia), has been sold. Toscano SpA and Guidobaldi Luxury Properties, two companies belonging to the Toscano Holding Group, handled the exclusive sale.
“The house by the sea” now has a new owner. Overlooking the beautiful Cala Matano, the villa was Lucio Dalla's home from the mid-1990s onwards: a place of inspiration, peace, and creativity.
The villa still retains its authentic character, deeply linked to the music and soul of the artist, leaving the new owner with an extraordinary legacy. Inside, among other things, is Casadilucio, the personal recording studio where the album Luna Matana was created, a tribute to the Tremiti Islands and to the beach, Cala Matano, which gives the album its name.
The sale
The sale was handled exclusively by Toscano SpA - through the Bologna Centro Agency - and Guidobaldi Luxury Properties, which specializes in luxury real estate, two companies belonging to the Toscano Holding Group. The sale, handled with great confidentiality, was only made public once the deal was closed, following the signing of the deed in recent days.
The sale of the villa in San Domino follows that of Lucio Dalla's independent residence on the island of San Nicola, inside the fortress of Santa Maria a Mare, which was successfully completed in the summer of 2024. These two extraordinary transactions have finally found buyers who will preserve the artist's immense legacy.
“Thanks to a solid relationship with the sellers and a deep knowledge of the area combined with experience in managing prestigious properties,” say Francesco Pizzolla, Sales Manager Toscano Bologna, and Nicola Rinaldi, CEO of Guidobaldi Luxury Properties, “we have been able to enhance and sell two unique properties, deeply linked to the personal and artistic history of Lucio Dalla.”
The Villa in San Domino
We are on the island of San Domino, a place that has always been a source of inspiration for Dalla, where some of his most famous songs were born, such as 4 marzo 1943, Piazza Grande, and Com’è profondo il mare.
The villa is located in the picturesque cove of Cala Matano, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Tremiti Islands, and is surrounded by a park of over 1,600 square meters.
The 300-square-meter residence is spread over four levels and offers spacious and bright rooms, designed for living in contact with nature and in a highly private setting. Each floor is surrounded by large panoramic terraces, offering unparalleled views.
