Jacopo Mancini, now 35, has been with Toscano since he was 19. He is the Gruppo Toscano Silver Area Manager Lazio and has recently opened his new affiliated agency in Nettuno. The ninth, to be precise. It has been a long but rewarding journey.

“I started at the Toscano agency in Ostia,” but shortly afterwards, at the age of 21, he wanted to set up his own business, “starting to open my first affiliated agency.” A career as a real estate agent is certainly not easy; it takes commitment and perseverance to achieve your goals. But above all, it takes ambition. Aiming to grow and develop your business.

“With the opening of several offices, the business changes and responsibilities become bigger. I had to learn how to manage and coordinate the human and economic resources of each agency, going from being a real estate agent to a true manager.”

But it is not an individual journey. It is a team effort: “My growth as a manager is directly proportional to the growth of the resources I work with. I started with my first office in Spinaceto, where I was able to train many people. Some chose new paths by going into business for themselves, while others stayed with me and went on to manage the offices as sales managers.”

From Spinaceto to Anzio. "The opening of the Anzio office was important because it allowed me to bring in various resources over time and assign them key roles: each agency has a Team Manager and a Sales Manager, and I owe much of the business's growth to them. The real goal is to find that affinity with the people you work with: it is precisely this understanding that allows a business to grow. "

First Anzio, then Nettuno, mark an important change in the local real estate market, which is certainly different from that of Rome. “It is a market made up of many second homes owned by citizens of Rome and its surroundings who are looking for a residence by the sea. But Nettuno is also a residential center made up of many first homes owned by people who, for example, in the post-Covid years have decided to move from the city of Rome to the coast.” The real estate offer also varies “from important properties around €500k-600k to classic apartments between €60k and €70k.”

But none of this would have been possible without Giovanni De Nadai, Sales Manager of Anzio, and Valerio Scialla, appointed Sales Manager of Nettuno. “We must always remember the fundamental work that managers do.”

Being part of Gruppo Toscano also provides significant support. “I have the guarantee of a brand that has been present in the area for 40 years. Brand awareness is certainly fundamental; people recognize Toscano's professionalism.”

A year has just begun, full of goals to achieve. “The first is definitely to teach our resources how to do their jobs well: the growth of the business is proportional to their growth within the Group. People are the real value, which is why I have to help them grow in every aspect of our business.”
