Gianluca Litta becomes Area Manager Silver Lazio: entrepreneurial growth built around people
Susanna Fiorletta
From joining Gruppo Toscano in 1999 to his appointment as Area Manager Silver Lazio, following the opening of more than five agencies across Rome, Gianluca Litta shares his entrepreneurial journey, built on methodology, training, and the professional development of his team members.
Your journey with Gruppo Toscano began in 1999, over twenty-five years ago. How did you first approach the real estate industry? And how did you join the Group?
I joined Gruppo Toscano in 1999, starting my career within the company's direct network at the Trastevere agency.
Through meeting Stefano Casadei, who is now my business partner, I discovered an organization that successfully combines training, methodology, and meritocracy.
That marked the beginning of a professional journey that, over the years, led me to open the Bravetta and Casetta Mattei agencies.
When you first started, what were your expectations and ambitions? Can you tell us about one or more milestones that were particularly significant in your career?
My initial ambition was to become a respected professional and build something lasting. Over time, my expectations grew alongside my achievements, and the most important turning point was transforming the experience I had gained as a real estate agent into a genuine entrepreneurial project.
Among my most significant achievements, I would highlight opening my agencies and, above all, having contributed to the professional growth of team members who have progressively taken on greater responsibilities.
Over the years, you have gone from managing your first agency to building a network of multiple offices across Rome. How did you develop your entrepreneurial project, and what were the key steps in expanding your network?
I have always believed in gradual, well-structured growth. The first step was to consolidate the individual agency by establishing a working method and, above all, building a team capable of taking on responsibilities.
From there, we were able to progressively establish new agencies across Rome. I believe the decisive factor was our ability to develop people alongside the agencies, creating increasingly independent and solid organizations.
Opening new agencies also means building strong teams capable of growing independently. How important are people in the development of your network, and how do you support their professional growth?
People are the true asset of every agency. Gruppo Toscano has always invested heavily in training, providing essential tools and development programs to support professional growth. My role has been to support people in their daily work, encourage them to take responsibility, and create tangible opportunities for advancement, with the aim of developing professionals who can eventually become leaders and entrepreneurs themselves.
You have built your career within the Group. How important is it to develop your entrepreneurial project as part of an established network? In which areas has the Group's support been most valuable to you over the years?
Being part of Gruppo Toscano has allowed me to develop my entrepreneurial project within a solid organization. For over twenty-five years, I have been able to rely on a respected brand, an established working method, continuous training, and tools that have supported my growth.
Over time, all of this has enabled me to share the experience I have gained with my business partners and the members of our team, contributing to their professional development and creating new opportunities for growth together.
Having opened more than five agencies in the area, you have now become Area Manager Silver. What does this new responsibility mean to you after so many years primarily as a broker and entrepreneur?
It is certainly an important recognition, coming after more than twenty-five years of professional and entrepreneurial experience within Gruppo Toscano.
However, I also see it as a new starting point, giving me the opportunity to share the experience I have gained over the years with my business partners and the people who are part of our team.
For me, becoming Area Manager Silver means adding even greater value to the journey we have built together and looking ahead with greater ambition to the future development of our project.
Your new role also changes your perspective: beyond your own agencies, you will have broader responsibilities for the development of the area. How do you plan to approach your work as Area Manager, and which aspects will you focus on most?
I want to start by looking at the organization and potential of each individual agency. The goal is to strengthen our existing operations, identify people within our team who are ready to take on greater responsibilities, and create the conditions for opening new agencies.
Above all, I want to focus on turning people's professional growth into new entrepreneurial opportunities, ensuring continuity and a long-term vision for the project we have built over the years.
