From joining Toscano in 2009 to his new appointment as Area Manager of the Group. Francesco Ciardi talks about 17 years of growth, sacrifice, and results, including new openings, the consolidation of agencies, and a clear vision for the future.

Let’s start with the new opening of the Torino Campidoglio agency. It was precisely with this new opening that you became Lazio Area Manager of the affiliated network: how do you feel about reaching this milestone?

I’m happy. It’s an important, stimulating milestone, and one I really wanted to reach. For me, 2026 is a special year, in which two almost simultaneous events marked a new beginning, both personally and professionally: the birth of my son in March and becoming Area Manager a month later.

I see this appointment as the result of 17 years of work made up of consistency, continuity, and determination in achieving goals.

Your energy is truly strong.

Now I have to prove myself in the field, day after day, and show that I am up to this role.

Certainly, right now I want to focus on consolidating what my partners and I have built.

There is a strong desire to grow together and to keep proving a great deal, always with enthusiasm and awareness.

Torino was a choice made consciously together with my partners Raffaele Malapena, Jacopo Mancini, and Michael Di Renzo, the broker who will be physically based in Torino and who was my collaborator at the Ostia Ponente agency.

We saw Torino as a concrete opportunity for development, in a dynamic and evolving market. It is a city where there will be no shortage of stimuli.

We took on this challenge with enthusiasm, a desire to grow, and a willingness to constantly put ourselves to the test.

Now, as Area Manager, you also have a coordinating role for the affiliated agencies in the Ostia area. What will you focus on most?

The goals are clear to me. Although the perspective is always one of growth, now that I am a partner in 10 agencies, it is very important for me to consolidate each individual agency, trying day after day to raise standards and achieve increasingly ambitious results.

From this perspective, bringing in new resources is essential, training and making the most of the people who become part of our Group.

You have been in Toscano since 2009, and yours has been a long path of growth within the Group. Can you tell us a bit about your story and what pushed you to always do more?

It’s not a short story, but I’ll try to summarize it. I joined the Group in 2009, with the opening of the Infernetto agency together with my friend and partner Raffaele Malapena. We have known each other forever, we went to school together, and following him changed my life.

At the beginning it was not easy. Like any real path, there were difficult moments, doubts, and challenges to face, but that is exactly how the strongest foundations are built.

In 2013, thanks to Mauro Cristoferi, Fabrizio Verdecchia, and Jacopo Mancini, we opened the Ostia Ponente agency. It was the greatest emotion for me, the result of years of sacrifice; it was the redemption I had been waiting for for a long time. And, in the end, that is the reason why I started working as a real estate agent, building a path made of commitment, sacrifice, and vision.

Of course, there have been many ups and downs. Happy moments and family losses, when time seemed to stand still and the mind struggled to focus. But perhaps it is precisely those difficult periods that made my path even more challenging. And from overcome challenges come the most beautiful things, such as the Ostia Ponente agency.

Obviously, the results achieved are the outcome of shared work: with my partners, my collaborators, and an extraordinary collaborator like Silvia Giovini, who has been with us for 13 years with commitment, reliability, and precious collaboration.

Seventeen intense years of work.

Today I am 45, but when I decided to give my life a different direction, I was 28. I had a permanent job at the airport, but I no longer wanted to feel like just a number, a pawn on a chessboard.

I aspired to something more, I wanted to leave a mark, and joining the agency was the first real step toward something greater.

And you succeeded. And now this appointment marks a new beginning: what will you do now?

First of all, I want to focus on the resources we already have.

In Ostia, we are training two young men, Davide Moschetta and Andrea Trani, who will take on a role of greater responsibility, in recognition of the commitment and skills they have demonstrated. They are two exceptional professionals, with three and a half years of activity, reliable, serious, oriented toward personal and professional growth, and with a strong desire to grow.

At the same time, we will expand the team by bringing in secretarial support and new collaborators, in order to further strengthen the team and face the new challenges ahead of us with enthusiasm and, why not, perhaps even new openings.

The secret is exactly this: taking small steps every day that take you far in the long term, consolidating what we already do and becoming increasingly professional and structured, eventually expanding our network once we are certain we have the resources to do so.

Should my presence in Torino be necessary, I will do everything I can to be there.
