With us since 2001, and with the opening of his fifth affiliated Toscano office, Andrea Palladino becomes Silver Area Manager for Lombardy of Gruppo Toscano. Today he tells us how he got here and what he has planned for the future.

Hi Andrea, first of all congratulations on your new appointment. How do you feel?

“I’m certainly happy, but even after this important recognition my project continues.”

Can you tell us about your journey at Toscano?

“I’ve been with Toscano since 2001; I can consider myself a veteran, if we can put it that way. I remember having my first interview in March 2001, even before graduating, and after finishing my studies in the summer of that same year, I started working full time at the agency.

I discovered Toscano through advertising during the Sunday night sports show Controcampo. Luckily for me, in Brescia there was already the first historic office opened by Roberto Tolli in 1999. Today, under the guidance of Gold Area Manager Alessandro Genovese, between the city and the province of Brescia there are 15 Toscano agencies and 3 more opening soon—we’ve come a long way.”

What intrigued you about the profession of real estate agent?

“I had already been intrigued by the figure of the real estate agent since high school, when I studied it during my law course. Then, as soon as I saw Toscano’s advertisement on television, I became even more convinced.

And then Roberto Tolli, when he interviewed me, won me over immediately, but he insisted that I graduate before starting. That’s what I did, and in September 2001 I began working at the agency.”

Being a real estate agent is an activity, not just a job. Do you agree with this statement? And what does being a real estate agent mean to you?

“The role of the real estate agent contains all the magic of our activity. Being able to bring everyone involved in a transaction to an agreement and satisfy them is always rewarding.

It’s an activity that never stops helping us grow on a human level, because we always have the opportunity to meet new people: every encounter enriches us. The essence of our activity is the constant interaction with people, growing through their life situations and what they teach us.

All of this has always given me the motivation to continue, beyond the economic rewards.”

You have already experienced the transition from agent to entrepreneur, as the owner of five real estate agencies in Brescia. How did you experience this transition?

“Entrepreneurship brings new responsibilities with it, having multiple agencies and teams to manage.

I must say that within the Group there has always been a growth-oriented mindset, which I’ve made my own as well. It has allowed me not to think only about myself and my business, but to have the desire and ambition to help the people around me grow.

My goal has always been to find resources to train, to teach the profession to, and to develop new projects together. This gives me great satisfaction, because as a result I grow too. When I work as part of a team, I do better.”

Together is always better.

“Yes, because when you’re alone, over time the motivation tends to fade. Instead, you always need to be able to renew and regenerate yourself, and this is only possible when you have a team by your side that pushes you to do better every single day.”

Let’s talk about younger people. How do new generations approach a freelance profession like that of a real estate agent?

“I believe that today young people tend to prefer greater professional freedom and want to diversify their career paths a lot.

Being a real estate agent is an activity with many facets and is very dynamic: these characteristics certainly give young people more stimulation. It’s a multifaceted profession that brings together a range of activities, allowing you to always learn new things and diversify your income.”

Still on the topic of growth, what are the next goals and projects ahead?

“The next goal, the most immediate one, is to physically open the new Brescia Ovest agency by the end of 2026, together with Marius Caluian, the current Sales Manager of the Sant’Anna affiliated office. To achieve this, I’m focused on consolidating the resources currently there: the three Account Managers (two aged 18 and one aged 27) and the Assistant Uliana Seredych, who recently obtained her license and became a real estate agent.”
